Lilac is a gem of a restaurant. My girlfriend and I are used to eating at very high end restaurants all around the country. But rarely are we delighted with such a spectacular dinner. Our server Jeremy excelled in all the aspects you could hope for service, personable, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. I can’t recommend Lilac enough to anyone who lives in or is visiting the Tampa area. We are so impressed with our experience at Lilac we are inspired to try some of John Fraser’s other restaurants as mentioned by our server. Thank you Lilac for an unforgettable night.

This was our first time... 3 time Michelin Star recipient, And it is very clear why! Our server, Ryan, was very knowledgeable and even of our favorite restaurants in other cities that are similar. Every single morsel of food consumed was spectacular! The chef takes great care in ensuring every plate is perfect before being served! We would give them our highest possible endorsement and truly look forward to our next opportunity to dine with them! If you don’t understand the complexity and formality associated with this tire of restaurant or don’t appreciate gastronomy, this place may not be for you! It’s not about the price or portions, it’s about the care that goes into the dishes and experience you will have!

We came here for our 5th wedding anniversary. I noted so in the reservation note. We were not disappointed. Not only was the food excellent, the service was some of the best we've had in Tampa. It truly is an experience. Each course was expertly crafted. You could tell the amount of work that went into each dish was very high. Each plate was beautiful & delicious. They really paid attention to every detail of the presentation. Don't miss the souffle! It was AMAZING. My favorite part was how much the staff went out of their way to acknowledge our special day. From the moment we sat down, & even during some of the courses during the meal, they celebrated us. Thank you!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. It's located in the lobby of the Tampa Edition Hotel. The ambiance is unique and pleasant. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The cocktails were great, and the desserts were the perfect complement to our dinner. I have a shellfish allergy, and they made some modifications to my food to accommodate my needs. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Lilac is located in the lobby of the Tampa Edition. Although it had very limited seating, it was packed, and it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance is spectacular as you can probably imagine. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The cocktails were great, and the desserts were the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner. Lilac is a true culinary gem. We did their 4 course tasting dinner and it was well worth the money. We had a little bit of everything (photos attached). It is a Michelin star restaurant, so it is pricey. The Wagyu Filet Mignon was undoubtedly what dreams are made of. I love this the atmosphere feels very intimate, inviting, and romantic even though it is right in the lobby. This restaurant is perfect for any special occasion. I’ll be visiting again.

This truly might be one of the best restaurants we've ever been to! The service was incredible from the moment we sat down. And the atmosphere is stunning! It's so easy to forget you're in a hotel lobby. The duck au poivre is one of the best things I've ever eaten. The peppercorn seasoning is perfect! You absolutely have to try it. The beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful. The chocolate walnut cremeaux was super rich and chocolatey. There wasn't anything we ate that was bad!

This is by far the best Michelin restaurant in Tampa. Jeremie was our server, and he made it an extraordinary experience to celebrate a birthday! The food was fantastic, wine pairing was amazing and Jeremie’s service made the whole meal perfection! He should really be training all servers! We had the scallops, Dover sole, pasta and souffle. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Best restaurant experience in Tampa, hands down. And I’ve eaten everywhere. It’s easy to understand why it has been given a Michelin star for two years in a row. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the best reviews. I think some people just aren’t used to eating at Michelin stared restaurants, and so they expect more for the price. I admit, it is pricey. I spent 900 for 4 people and we didn’t order wine. But if you knew what goes into having this level of restaurant then it would make sense. This place is absolutely a wonderful experience with an elaborate menu and everything was prepared perfectly.
